American College of Radiology - Center of Excellence Vero Radiology Associates Women's Imaging Center offers state of the art GE Senographe DS and Essential digital mammography with computer aided detection. Electronic images of the breast are taken with adequate compression and sent to a computer for the radiologist to review. Digital mammography allows manipulation of contrast, magnification and brightness after the exam, often eliminating the need for repeat images. Please allow 15–30 minutes for your exam.



Vero Radiology Women's Imaging Center is fully accredited by the American College of Radiology.



MAMMOGRAM EXAM PREP

  1. No deodorant, powder or perfume on the day of the exam.
  2. If possible, wear a two-piece outfit.
  3. Bring the name and address of the facility where previous mammograms were obtained.
  4. Please bring any information or prescriptions your doctor may have given you.
