Biopsy Instructions

The following products must be discontinued 48 hours prior to the procedure: Aspirin, products containing aspirin, vitamin E and antiplatelet products (e.g. Plavix). If taking Coumadin, must stop taking 5 days prior to, then check with a PT 24 hours prior to procedure. Patient must be fasting for 6 hours prior to the procedure, except for your medications. Please bring a driver with you.

Myelogram Instructions

Do not take any phenothiazine, tricyclic antidepressants, or MAO inhibitors 24 hours prior to the procedure. You must be fasting 6 hours prior to your procedure, except for medications.
